Randpark Ridge Community Feeding Scheme

The Randpark Ridge Islamic Foundation has made charity one of its focal points of operation.

The Foundation currently manages a monthly ‘food parcel’ collection drive which involves the purchase and distribution of bulk vegetables and grocery packs to families in need.

The Foundation has a long-standing relationship with the families of Coronationville, Westbury, Chrisville, Eldorado Park, and Eikenhof. In addition, the Foundation also gives support to orphanages based in Lenasia, Maraisburg, and Kibler Park.

Over and above the collection of funds, the Foundation also collects used clothing for distribution to families in need. The drop-off point for clothing is the Randpark Ridge Musallah.

In Ramadaan, several deghs (large cooking pot) of haleem is distributed every Saturday from the premises of the Musallah. Iftar is provided every day throughout Ramadan, and bulk grocery packs are distributed to Muslim families in need.

On the day of Eid, at least, 122 deghs   of food is distributed to several needy communities as Eid lunch.

Help us reach more families. Donate for the pleasure of Almighty Allah Azawajal and His Beloved Habib Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم.
